More Than One

“Order and simplification are the first steps toward the mastery of a subject.” – Thomas Mann

When I am out taking photos, I typically use 3 different cameras. I use my Nikon D7500, my Samsung S22 Ultra, and my Gopro 10. I use each one for a different reason. I use my Nikon for precision, and capturing everything in the perfect frame. I use my phone to capture and share quickly. Then I use my GoPro to capture those angles that are difficult to get to. I attach it to a selfie stick, and that allows me place the camera in a spot that wouldn’t be easy to get to. I also like using my GoPro in areas where I am afraid I might drop my camera at. The GoPro is way more durable than my camera, and it costs less to replace it.

I took these photos with my GoPro when I visited Curtis Creek near Old Fort, North Carolina. What I love about Curtis Creek is I can see all of these great views from the side of the road. You can see a lot of them straight from your car. The gravel road eventually leads all the way to the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you take a left, you can see Mt. Mitchell, and if you take a right, you can visit Marion, North Carolina.
