Oh No, I Forgot My Camera

“Our work is the presentation of our capabilities.” – Edward Gibbon

Last winter break, my family and I took a cruise to the Bahamas. We spent Christmas day swimming on an island, and then the next day in Nassau. While we were in Nassau, we rode in a semi-submersible, and took a boat tour of the island. After that, we had lunch on the cruise ship, and then headed back for some shopping and site seeing. We all had a great time, and I am looking forward to going back later this year.

After we got back on to the cruise ship, my wife and I were hanging out in my mom’s room because you could see the people running back to the cruise ship because they were late getting back. Later we watched the ship pull out of port. As the boat was pulling out, the sun started to set and Nassau started to show her full beauty. There was just one problem, I left my camera in my room. After we took the boat tour, I decided to lighten my load and leave my camera. I debated going back to room and picking it up, but I decided to stay and use my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Fortunately for me, it has a great camera on it, and I was able to capture this scene as we left port.
