Keep the Energy

One thing I have been thinking a lot about lately is stress. The reason is because I am often asked by newer teachers and by others outside of education how I handle the stress of being a teacher. It’s never easy, but one way I do it is by photography. I love going out and taking photos. Taking photos is something I look forward to, and I enjoy doing it. It’s my way of being creative. The thrill of finding a new location or capturing something in a different way brings me joy. This creative outlet allows me to relieve stress, and it’s another way to enjoy life.

I took these photos during mt last cruise to the Bahamas. One of my favorite things to do on a cruise is to capture one sunset and one sunrise while we are at sea. I took this one as soon as we pulled out of the port at Charlestown. I did my best capturing the beauty of it. It was an amazing evening.
