“We must not allow other people’s limited perceptions to define us.” – Virginia Satir

This might surprise you. Some of you might not believe what I am about to say. But I have to get it out there. Here is my confession, I take a lot of photos. Anywhere I go, if I am using my phone or my camera, I take a lot of photos of just about every part of the journey. On some of my day trips to the mountains, I have taken over 100 photos in just one day. I take so many photos in fact, I rarely get them all out there on Instagram. I try to, but sometimes before I can post everything from one adventure, another one comes up. I get excited for those new photos, and I have to post them up as soon as possible. This is why I like going back every once and a while to see what I haven’t shared in a while or haven’t shared at all. This gives me an opportunity to look back to see how much my photography has improved over the years, and to look back at the memories from past experiences.

I took these photos on a cruise I went on back in 2019. We took a seven-day cruise out of Tampa to Mexico, Honduras, and Belize. I took a lot of photos on that trip with my Nikon D3200. There were a few times when I forgot my camera, but I had my cell phone on me. All of these photos were taken with my phone. As you can see, we had some incredible views at sea.

I think anyone who’s even remotely interested in photography has a back catalog of stuff we haven’t shared for one reason or another.
