I try to take advantage of every opportunity I get to use my camera. Most of the photos I take are of around Charlotte, N.C. where I live. Charlotte has a lot of amazing places to take photos at. I usually focus on Uptown Charlotte because it is the closest to my house, but on occasion if I have time I will venture out further. The main reason I like to take photos around different places in Charlotte is practice. This way, when I travel to somewhere new for the first time I am able to capture the best possible shot.
A few years ago my daughter was in a drama summer camp at UNC Charlotte. One day, after I dropped her off, I rode my bike around campus capturing what I could. I took some long exposure shots of one of the larger fountains there.
