“You can find peace amidst the storms that threaten you.” – Joseph B. Wirthlin

When it comes to different seasons, I enjoy all of them for different reasons. I feel like when we get to a particular season, there is a feeling of peace that comes with it. When it comes to fall, while it is my busiest time of the year, the fact that the temperatures are starting to cool off outside brings me peace because I need a break from all of the hot weather. I look forward to drinking hot coffee in the afternoon, and not having to worry about sweating while I do it. I also get peace from knowing when I ride my bike or work outside it won’t be as hot while I am out there. Also with fall coming, while it is my busiest time of the year, I know I have some holidays and big vacation plans coming soon.

I took these photos back in the fall of 2021 while I was riding my bike around Uptown Charlotte. This is one of my favorite shots of Marshall Park. I’ve tried to time it to where I could recapture this photo again, but I have not had the opportunity either to being busy or the weather didn’t cooperate. I love these shots because they capture all of the fall colors, with the reflection, and the weather was clear that day.
