I love a good view. From mountain views to city views, there are some that I could stare at all day. I think that’s why I got into landscape photography. I love looking back at the different photos I have taken over the years and checking out those views again. The trick to landscape photography is getting in the right place to have the best view of the area that you are in. It’s hard to capture the great view of an area if you are not in the right spot. Even then, you can be in the right spot and still not be able to capture its full beauty.
I took these photos a few months ago while visiting one of my favorite parks in Charlotte. I enjoy it because it is a literacy themed park. The Green is located right as you enter Uptown from South Tryon Street. It’s a fun park to check out and has a pretty good view of the city.
