What are your feelings on getting up early? I get up early just about every day. I am usually up during the week at 5:30 because I have to make sure my kids make it to the bus on time, and I teach at an early starting school. I typically leave my house around 7. It took me some getting used to because when my kids were in elementary school, they didn’t have to be there until around 9. Since I am up early during the week, I rarely sleep in during the weekend. Typically, I am up around 7:30 on the weekends. I’m just used to getting up early.
Getting up early pays off while on vacation. One, it’s quiet during breakfast. Very few people are up that early. Two, you get to watch the sunrise. I caught one sunrise during my last cruise to Nassau. I took my camera up to the front of the ship and watched the sunrise over the harbor. Being an early riser has its benefits.

Yes, I had to get up really early once to catch a train, and I saw so many birds. I suppose they’re early risers too. 🙂
