Someone Else’s Roses

“Change your life today. Don’t gamble on the future, act now, without delay.” – Simone de Beauvoir

I thought I would do a post today about someone else’s roses. A few of my previous posts have been of the roses I have in my backyard. I wanted to show off some other roses. I saw these bushes over at Madison Park near my work.

I have started a new lunch tradition at work. At my lunch, I eat while my students are walking through the line. Once they are finished, I drop my lunchbox off and head outside. I have started to walk around the park by my school. I started doing this for health reasons, but I have noticed other benefits too. I have more energy in the afternoons, I am more focused, and my stress is down. Initially, I planned to do it only on days I wasn’t going to the gym. However, I now do it every day. It’s amazing how small changes can have a big benefit.
