“There’s a world of difference between truth and facts. Facts can obscure the truth.” – Maya Angelou

We all want to be successful. One thing that sometimes holds us back is that we refuse to take the first steps. Those first steps can be anything from sharing an idea to showing off the success you have had. The second is where I struggle. I love to talk, but I am not a fan of bragging about myself. Sometimes, I even fail to remember all of the ways I have been successful over the years. As I write this down, I realize I need to do a better job of recording my successes. One of my goals this school year is going to be to write it down when I see success, instead of waiting to see the end results at the end of the year.

One of my favorite places to ride my bike to in Charlotte is Marshall Park. It’s an older park, but the pond in the middle of it makes it great for photos. Some of my favorite photos I have taken were at Marshall Park in Charlotte. I captured these photos while riding my bike around there. The crape myrtle trees were in full bloom when I got there.
