It’s easy to think that there are people that we can’t learn something from. We either think that we have it all figured out, or that they have no clue about anything. We are all good at something. Whether or not they lean into that skill is a different story. What we need to start getting better about is learning from those who have different perspectives that we do. Too often we allow our circle of friends and social media to keep us closed off from other views. Just because you disagree with someone, doesn’t mean we should ignore them. At least try to understand why and how they got to that opinion before closing yourself off to them. Often times that new perspective helps you understand something better.
One of my favorite activities when the weather is warmer is enjoying a nice day at the park. One of my favorite parks to visit in Charlotte is Freedom Park. I love visiting here because of the great views, awesome trails, and great places to sit and enjoy the day. I try to visit during the week when I can because it isn’t crowded.
