What we do matters. We might not feel like we have that great of an impact, but the truth is our impact is always larger than we think it is. We might think that our impact is only the small circle that is around us. However, our impact goes beyond that. We encounter different people every day. There are others who watch us from afar, and we don’t even realize it. What we do matters. What we post on social media matters. People see what we post. Even if we don’t get that many views, those that see it matter.
Over the summer, we took a cruise around Europe. One of our stops was Edinburgh, Scotland. Edinburgh is famous for having a castle and palace inside the center of the city. If you look one way you see a modern metropolis, and the other you see the Royal Mile. While we were exploring Edinburgh, we came across The Parish Church of St Cuthbert. Founded in the 7th century, the church once covered an extensive parish around the burgh of Edinburgh. The church’s current building was designed by Hippolyte Blanc and completed in 1894.
