Back to the Falls – Throwback 2022

“Of all possessions a friend is the most precious.” – Herodotus

I love waterwalls. The look, the sound, and majesty. It doesn’t matter how large or how small the falls are, I still enjoy taking a moment to sit by them and enjoy them. I am fortunate to live in my state because we have several amazing waterfalls in the western part of North Carolina. One of my favorite things to do during the fall is to take a day trip and check a few of them out. I don’t mind taking a short hit to see any either. The journey there is one of the best parts. It gives it a little more value because it took some time to get there.

I took these photos a few years ago when the family and I took a visit to Linville Falls in North Carolina. This is one of my favorite waterfalls in the state. It’s a short walk to the upper falls, but if you want to see the lower falls, it’s a little bit of hike up the hill to see them.
