Creek Photo’s from My Phone

“The best proof of love is trust.” – Joyce Brothers

I remember a few years ago, I was watching an interview on TV with a famous photographer. The host asked the photographer, “what would you recomend to people use when first starting with photography?” To his surprise she said, “your cell phone.” She went on to explain that a good camera is expensive, and if you are not sure that photography is something you want to get into full time, then find out you don’t like it. Also, she talked about how great phone cameras are today. My current phone, the Samsung S22 Ultra, is better than my old Nikon D3200. It takes high quality photos, and the zoom on it isn’t too bad. Often times when I go places, I will take photos with it, my Nikon, and My GoPro. Each camera delievers a different perspective. I agree with the photographer I saw on TV, if you want to get started with photography, learn how to do more with your phones camera first. You can have the best camera on the planet and still take poor photos. It’s all in how you use the equipment.

I took all of these photos last fall when I visited Curtis Creek near Old Fort, North Carolina. I used all of the cameras I brought with me. These are the photos I captured with my phone.
