Finding Old Cars – Throwback 2021

“Don’t go through life, grow through life.” – Eric Butterworth

When I am out and about, I am always surprised at what I find. I try to ride my bike every Saturday around Charlotte. I typically take the rail trail, and ride it all the way to Uptown. Sometimes I go to different places based on the amount of time I have. When I am by myself, I usually ride about 10 miles.

There is one trail in Charlotte called the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. The entire trail is over 17 miles that runs through Charlotte. Back in 2021, I took my kids to the stretch of the trail near Tyvola Road. We rode it down a few miles, hung out at Park Road Park, and came back to where we parked. On the way back, I noticed these random old cars just left on the side of the trail. Who knows how long they have been there. We stopped for a moment to check them out, and headed back up the trail.
