Sunrise Over Nassau

Last spring was our third time visiting Nassau. This was the first time out of all three that we visited, and it didn’t rain. In the past when we visited, it was always raining throughout the day or in the off and on. Even though it was raining, Nassau was still a great place to visit. However, on our last visit, we were finally able to see the city without rain. We took advantage of it, and did a Jeep tour for the day. I drove us in a Jeep around town. We saw many Nassau sites, including some caves and the beach.

One of my favorite things to do while on vacation is to catch at least one sunrise and one sunset. Since I had to be up early for our shore excursion to Nassau, I got up, went to the top of the ship, and watched the sunrise over the harbor. There were some low clouds that blocked some of the sun, but the sun was still able to get its light through to put on a great show for me that morning.
