The old phrase “actions speak louder than words” is something people don’t want for themselves. They say they are one way, but their actions prove that they are something else. People want their words to define them. It is easy to describe yourself in a positive way, but it is hard to demonstrate yourself. People will talk highly of themselves, but when it comes time to show who they are, they can’t. What they say doesn’t match what they do. What we do matters more than what we say. Words do carry value, but actions have more value. If you say you care about someone, show it. You can it with giving them time and real attention. Actions show who we are.
One of my favorite things to do is to ride my bike around Freedom Park. I love being outside, and enjoying the great views. Typically when I go I have my camera on my back so I can photograph any great scenes I see. I captured these photos back in March of 2023. The weather was perfect that day. Two of my favorite spots to photograph at Freedom Park is by the two fountains in the lake. The best spot is right in front of the bridge that goes to the amphitheater.
