“If you’re alive, there’s a purpose for your life.” – Rick Warren

I know these photos are far removed from the weather we are experiencing now. The end of January was a wild month, weather-wise, in Charlotte. I hadn’t seen that much snow and ice at once since we lived in Kentucky. I thought I had missed it, but after a couple of days, I was ready for it to be gone. The only thing I miss at this point is the cooler days, but at least summer break is coming soon.

When we woke up on the morning of January 31, it had already started to snow. Most of the ground was already covered at that point. After lunch, we headed out as a family to enjoy the snow. We had had a sled in our shed for 10 years, waiting for the moment. We took a few rides on the sled down the hill, and I walked around and took a few photos. The next day, I walked through our neighborhood. I checked how it appeared with snow covering the ground during the daylight. These are some of the photos I captured around the neighborhood.
