Dolphin Show

“If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.” – Jim Rohn

When I go somewhere, I could walk around that place for days, especially if it is somewhere new. I looked back at the amount of steps I took while in Europe, and there was some days I walked ten miles in one day. I did that for 2 days in a row at one point. While I am walking around, I get somewhere, I walk around, snap a few photos, and then walk to the next spot. I think being a teacher is why I have the endurance to walk so much in one day. 10,000 steps a day in the classroom is easy to achieve. Walking while traveling is something that allows me to see more in one day.

We try to go somewhere fun on every major holiday. From Alaska to the Caribbean, we love to see the world. Last winter, we went somewhere a little closer to home. We took a drive down to Florida. Our first stop was Discovery Cove. We spent the day walking with the flamingos, swimming in the lazy river, and snorkeling with sting rays. Our next stop was SeaWorld. SeaWorld was fun, but it was packed. It was wall-to-wall people wherever we went. We were able to see a lot of the animals that lived there. I was able to get some great shots with the dolphins. I have been working on getting my camera settings right for fast-moving subjects. This helped me later when we went to the Orca show. Here are a few of the shots I captured of these dolphins.
