“Looking back, I have this to regret, that too often when I loved, I did not say so.” – Ray Stannard Baker

We keep our positive thoughts to ourselves more often. Studies have been completed by different groups about how people react to different experiences with customer service. When someone has a positive experience, they tell 3 people about it. However, when they have a negative experience, they tell at least 10 people about it. In other words, if we are mad about something, we tell just about everyone we know. If we are happy with something, we keep it to ourselves. We have to be better about being more willing to share the positive experiences in our lives and try to focus less on the negative.

One of the reasons why I like posting photos online is because I want more positivity on social media. Sadly, positive posts don’t go viral as often as negative posts. However, I figure if a few people have a more positive experience online, that makes it worth it to me. I captured these photos while we were exploring Stornoway, Scotland. Stornoway is a beautiful place. It’s known as a small fishing village. I used my lens from Retropia to capture these shots. It’s made with a recycled disposable camera and gives the feel of a shot being captured with an old film camera.
