“Well done is better than well said.” – Benjamin Franklin

It is easy to share a good idea. In my field, good ideas are a dime a dozen, as they say. Everyone has a good idea on how to improve things in the field of education. The problem is, no one has any follow-through. Good ideas are shared on a daily basis, but no one wants to execute them. There is always a willingness to share good ideas, but there isn’t a willingness to put in the work to accomplish them. If you have a good idea, take a moment to think about how you will accomplish it. Think of the resources you might need to pull it off. Don’t just share the idea when it comes to you; think through what you need in order to get it done.

I captured these photos in Edinburgh, Scotland, when we visited. A few of the shots I have posted feature the Ross Fountain with Edinburgh Castle in the background. The Ross Fountain was produced at the iron foundry of Antoine Durenne in Sommevoire, France. It was an exhibit at the Great Exhibition of 1862. It was purchased by gunmaker Daniel Ross in 1862 for £2,000 and subsequently gifted to the city of Edinburgh. Here are a few photos I captured from around this area.
Nice to see your pictures. I got back from beautiful Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands a week ago.
