Under the Sea

What types of places do you like to visit? When planning any type of trip, that’s how we decide what we want to do while we are away. We think about the things we enjoy doing and then plan experiences around them. I am a big fan of being outside and in nature. When I visit somewhere, I can walk for hours and not miss a beat. The ability to walk all day might come from the fact that I am a classroom teacher. I already spend most of my day on my feet. The walking part comes easy for me. The outdoors part is something I crave because I spend most of my day inside. When we travel somewhere, I spend my time outside as much as possible. From exploring new places to observing wildlife, I am always looking for new experiences.

Last winter, my family and I traveled to Orlando, Florida. Our main goal was to spend the day checking out the flamingos at Discovery Cove. We had an experience where we were able to mingle with the flamingos. With the package we purchased, we got a good deal on tickets to Sea World the next day. We spent that day walking the park, checking out the shows, and seeing the various animals they had on display. One of my favorite parts to visit was the aquarium. We were able to check out different ocean animals as they swam around us. I always feel like the photos I take at the aquarium are not the best. I think these turned out alright.
