Flying High

“The whole point of getting things done is knowing what to leave undone.” – Oswald Chambers

We all have things we want to accomplish in life. The problem is there is always so much to do. As a teacher, the list of things to do for work grows by the day. There is always more to do. When the list continues to grow, sometimes I have to make decisions. I prioritize things based on their importance. For me, what’s most important is the instruction and safety of my students during the school day. Those things I work on to accomplish first. Then I work to complete everything else if I have time. This way, I am focused on what’s more important, and I prevent myself from feeling overwhelmed. It’s easy to let everything that needs to get done overwhelm you. By focusing on what’s important, then we can be more accomplished.

I do the same thing when it comes to editing the photos I have taken over the years. Last summer, the family and I took a trip to Alaska. I am still going through all of the photos I captured on that trip. As of right now, I have plenty to share from that trip. I work on those when I have time, but I focus on photos that I have taken more recently. These photos that I am posting today I captured when the family and I visited SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida last December. One of the first things we saw after getting into the park was the dolphin show. We got to see these guys fly high in the sky as they performed many tricks for us that day. Here are a few of the shots that I captured.
