“Reserve your right to think, for even to think wrongly is better than not to think at all.” – Hypatia

If you want to see things when you travel, you have to expect to take a long walk. Most days when we are exploring a new place, 12,000 steps is the norm. When we visit somewhere, our goal is to see as much as we possibly can. Our long walks would be quicker if I wasn’t stopping every few seconds to take some photos with my camera, but I can’t help myself. I want to capture as many memories as I can while I am out. Some of these places I might never see again, and the photos I capture help me remember what I saw while I was there.

Looking back at some of my last few trips, I usually have a massive amount of steps each day. It doesn’t bother me while I am there, but when we get back to where we are staying, I usually crash in bed. I think I walk a lot on trips because I want to see as much as possible. That was definitely true when we visited Victoria, Canada last summer. I walked over 20,000 steps that day. We saw a lot and enjoyed every minute of it. We didn’t have anything specific planned, but we did explore as much of the city as possible.
