Whenever I look back at many of the trips I have taken, there are always highlights that stick out. There are those moments when I tell myself that “I can’t believe I went there.” Some of the places I have been I wasn’t sure I would ever see. That’s why I take so many photos when I go somewhere. I am typically in awe of where I am, and I want to capture the moment the best I can.
These shots are from some of my favorite places I visited while in Alaska. Some were taken at Icy Strait Point in the rainforest. We took a gondola ride to the top of the mountain, and literally went above the clouds. Other shots were captured while riding the Great Yukon Express. This is a train ride that took us along the route of the Yukon Gold Rush into Canada. Others were taken while on the way to see the Hubbard Glacier. The glacier looked amazing, but the views on the way there were spectacular. The other shots were at Sitka. This is where we went whale watching. The sunset shot was captured after we left Ketchikan.
